Two Week Look Ahead

Please be advised that this schedule may change due to weather conditions and existing conditions     found while performing the tasks below. We will be swapping out 30 yd. dumpsters and having deliveries intermittently throughout the duration of the project mainly from the East side of the site along Albany Street. Be advised that all work has levels of vibrations and noise, and we are working to minimize the disturbance as much as possible. 

What to Expect for the Week of November 11th to November 15th, 2024

• West Elevation Activities: Finishing up metal panels over the Sally Port. We are planning concrete placements on the interior of the building; trucks will be entering the site from the BMC lot and the gate at the Preston Family building. 

• North Elevation Activities: We are expecting to have a concrete pump set up on the NE corner of our site to place concrete on the 4th floor. 

• East Utility Yard Activities: Site cleanup and electrical work at the Electrical pad. 

• East Elevation: Punch list exterior façade will be ongoing. 

• South Elevation/Plaza: Steel install, framing, sheathing, waterproofing, installation of Z Girt, insulation, curtain wall and metal panel installation. Granite veneer install will continue along with Concrete placement. Fuel delivery. 

What to Expect for the Week of November 18th to November 22nd,2024 

• West Elevation Activities: We are planning to have concrete placements on the interior of the building. Trucks will be entering the site from the BMC lot and the gate at the Preston Family building.

• North Alley Activities: We are expecting a crane at the BMC Valet lot for debris removal from the H building roof. All access down the North Alley will be maintained. At Albany St. Side: Site grading, soil removal and prep for binder. 

• East Utility Yard Activities: Delivery of stone material and finish up the area drains and site grading around the utility pads. 

• East Elevation: Exterior punch list for the façade will be ongoing. 

• South Elevation/Plaza: Curtain wall install, framing, sheathing, waterproofing, Z-Girt, insulation, and metal panels. Mast climber dismantling and relocation, all trucks and equipment will be entering through the East Newton St. gate.

Bus Stop Change Notice

 

The Bus Stop at 88 East Newton Street will be temporarily removed during construction.

The MBTA has decided to direct customers of these four Bus Service lines to two other bus service lines with existing stops in close proximity (less than a block away). See graphic below.

STOP A is E. Newton @ Harrison and will cover the 10 Line (to Copley)

STOP B is Harrison @ E. Newton and will cover the remaining lines 8 (Kenmore), 47 (Central Sq) and CT3 (Beth Israel)

All stops are covered between these 2 locations.

The physical shelter will be removed on June 24th.

The stop relocations will go into effect no sooner than July 11th.

 

The MBTA will issue their own communications to the public on this service interruption.

As a courtesy DCAMM is informing the community early so customers in the area can prepare for this upcoming change.
