Two Week Look Ahead

Please be advised that this schedule may change due to weather conditions and existing conditions found while performing the tasks below. We will be swapping out 30 yd. dumpsters and having deliveries intermittently throughout the duration of the project mainly from the East side of the site along Albany Street. Be advised that all work has levels of vibrations and noise, and we are working to minimize the disturbance as much as possible. 

What to Expect for the Week of August 11th to August 15th, 2025 
  • West: We have a crane scheduled for Saturday 8/16 and material delivery set up and unloaded to the H roof from the BMC/Preston lot. On site crew will manage all traffic and maintain access to the buildings and parking garage.
     
  • North: NE corner of the site we will be storing material and moving from this location into the basement for the next several weeks. Concrete pump/placement scheduled this week for the basement.
     
  • East Utility Yard: We have a delivery of metal panels and we are starting the metal panels around the fencing this week.  A temporary diesel fire pump will be maintained and will run for approx. 3 min. every 18hours. 
     
  • East: Roof install along with core drilling roof drains over the loading dock.
     
  • South Elevation/Plaza: Continue with ACM panel install, Granite veneer installs, continuing with steel install around the perimeter of the activity terrace roof will continue this week, coring for plaza drains and form and pour topping slab. concrete placements are scheduled for the end of the week on the plaza.  Trucks and equipment will be entering through the East Newton St. gate.
What to Expect for the Week of August 18th to August 22nd, 2025
  • West: We have nothing planned for this area this week.
     
  • North: We are expecting another shipment of truss wall panels, being offloaded along Albany St. and staged along the NE corner of the site and moving from this location into the basement for the next several weeks. Concrete placement is scheduled for this week for the basement.  
     
  • East Utility Yard: We will be continuing with the metal panel install around the perimeter of the fencing at the utility yard. A temporary diesel fire pump will be maintained and run for 3 min. approximately every 18 hours.
     
  • East: Roof install along with core drilling roof drains over the loading dock.
     
  • South Elevation/Plaza: Continue with ACM panel install, Granite veneer install. We are scheduling to have material delivery and Steel install around the perimeter of the activity terrace roof will be continuing this week, coring for plaza drains and form and pouring topping slabs. Trucks and equipment will be entering through the East Newton St. gate.

Bus Stop Change Notice

 

The Bus Stop at 88 East Newton Street will be temporarily removed during construction.

The MBTA has decided to direct customers of these four Bus Service lines to two other bus service lines with existing stops in close proximity (less than a block away). See graphic below.

STOP A is E. Newton @ Harrison and will cover the 10 Line (to Copley)

STOP B is Harrison @ E. Newton and will cover the remaining lines 8 (Kenmore), 47 (Central Sq) and CT3 (Beth Israel)

All stops are covered between these 2 locations.

The physical shelter will be removed on June 24th.

The stop relocations will go into effect no sooner than July 11th.

 

The MBTA will issue their own communications to the public on this service interruption.

As a courtesy DCAMM is informing the community early so customers in the area can prepare for this upcoming change.
