Two Week Look Ahead

Please be advised that this schedule may change due to the weather conditions and existing conditions found while performing the tasks below. We will be swapping out 30 yd. dumpsters and receiving deliveries intermittently throughout the duration of the project mainly from the East side of the site along Albany Street. Be advised that all work has levels of vibration and noise, and we are working to minimize the disturbance as much as possible. We will be managing ice melt and snow removal as needed around the perimeter of the site.

 

What to Expect for the Week of February 2nd to February 6th, 2026
  • West: No work activities scheduled for this week.
  • North: No work activities scheduled for this week.
  • East Utility Yard: work activity in this area has been paused for weather, Other than deliveries/dumpsters throughout the week. Temporary diesel fire pump being maintained and running for 3 min. approximately every 18 hours.
  • East: We are expected to be out along this side with a boom lift working on metal panel punch list.
  • South Elevation/Plaza: We are scheduling material deliveries throughout the week. We are expecting a crane set up on the edge of the plaza and boom lifts installing the perforated sign. Trucks and equipment will be entering through the East Newton St. gate. Overhead work from boom lifts along the edge of the plaza with ACM panel punch list rework. We are also continuing with the waterproofing/roofing of the plaza deck.

 

What to Expect for the Week of February 9th to February 13th, 2026
  • West: No work activities scheduled for this area.
  • North: We are expecting a crane in the Valet lot to hoist steel onto the H and Q roof this week. The crane activity will not impede access by residents to their parking spaces along the North Alley during this operation.
  • East Utility Yard: We are expecting to continue with the form work/ rebar and the placement of the utility stairs. Temporary diesel fire pump being maintained and running for 3 min. approximately every 18 hours.
  • East: No work activities scheduled for this area, we are expecting to continue working from a boom lift on the metal panel punch list.
  • South Elevation/Plaza: We are scheduling material deliveries throughout the week. We are expecting a crane set up on the edge of the plaza loading material and continuing with the perforated sign installation. Trucks and equipment will be entering through the East Newton St. gate. We are also continuing with the waterproofing/roofing of the plaza deck.

Bus Stop Change Notice

 

The Bus Stop at 88 East Newton Street will be temporarily removed during construction.

The MBTA has decided to direct customers of these four Bus Service lines to two other bus service lines with existing stops in close proximity (less than a block away). See graphic below.

STOP A is E. Newton @ Harrison and will cover the 10 Line (to Copley)

STOP B is Harrison @ E. Newton and will cover the remaining lines 8 (Kenmore), 47 (Central Sq) and CT3 (Beth Israel)

All stops are covered between these 2 locations.

The physical shelter will be removed on June 24th.

The stop relocations will go into effect no sooner than July 11th.

 

The MBTA will issue their own communications to the public on this service interruption.

As a courtesy DCAMM is informing the community early so customers in the area can prepare for this upcoming change.
