Two Week Look Ahead

Please note that the schedule below may change due to weather, site conditions, or other project needs. During this work, dumpsters may be swapped out and deliveries may arrive at different times, primarily from the east side of the site along Albany Street. Some activities may cause noise or vibration. The project team will continue to work to limit disruption to residents and neighbors whenever possible.

Labor Day Closure: No trades will be on site from Saturday, September 5, through Monday, September 7.

 

What to Expect: Week of August 31–September 4, 2026
  • West: A crane is expected to remain in place this week as installation of the Sally Port structure continues. Crews will also use a boom lift to complete metal panel punch-list work.
  • North: No work is scheduled in this area.
  • East Utility Yard: No work is scheduled in this area.
  • East Elevation: No work is scheduled in this area.
  • South Elevation/Plaza: Crews are scheduled to place concrete for the decking infill. Overhead work will continue throughout the remainder of the week, including repairs to ACM panels along the plaza elevations.

 

What to Expect: Week of September 7th - September 11th, 2026
  • West: A crane is expected to be set up this week to continue installation of the Sally Port structure.
  • North: A crane is scheduled to be staged in the valet lot to remove material from the H Roof. Resident access through the North Alley will remain open. A ground crew will monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic to help maintain safe access throughout the work.
  • East Utility Yard: Crews are expected to excavate for the utility pad cheek walls, light pole bases, and conduit.
  • East Elevation: Excavation for site conduit and light pole bases is expected to begin this week.
  • South Elevation/Plaza: Material deliveries are scheduled throughout the week. Crews will also perform overhead work to address ACM punch-list items. Trucks and equipment are expected to enter through the East Newton Street gate.

Bus Stop Change Notice

 

The Bus Stop at 88 East Newton Street will be temporarily removed during construction.

The MBTA has decided to direct customers of these four Bus Service lines to two other bus service lines with existing stops in close proximity (less than a block away). See graphic below.

STOP A is E. Newton @ Harrison and will cover the 10 Line (to Copley)

STOP B is Harrison @ E. Newton and will cover the remaining lines 8 (Kenmore), 47 (Central Sq) and CT3 (Beth Israel)

All stops are covered between these 2 locations.

The physical shelter will be removed on June 24th.

The stop relocations will go into effect no sooner than July 11th.

 

The MBTA will issue their own communications to the public on this service interruption.

As a courtesy DCAMM is informing the community early so customers in the area can prepare for this upcoming change.
